Scyld Cloud Domain

A Scyld Cloud domain consists of an instance of Scyld Cloud Auth and one or more instances of Scyld Cloud Controller providing end-user provisioning of an HPC cluster, and a single instance of Scyld Cloud Accountant providing aggregated usage data.

Scyld Cloud Management Services User Accounts

Any user wishing to utilize Scyld Cloud resources will need to have an account. Users can register for an account through the web portal. Generally users can manage their account, view and request Scyld Cloud resources, and query their usage using the web portal. Individuals can use the Scyld Cloud Management APIs after first setting up a key and secret through the web portal.

Scyld Cloud Auth provides a way for an account holder to manage additional users on their account including fine-grained access control.

Authorization for Scyld Cloud Management Services Endpoints

All Scyld Cloud Management Services use Scyld Cloud Auth to authenticate requests.

Scyld Cloud Controller Administration

Administrators manage the list of available Scyld Cloud Controller instances within a Scyld Cloud domain.
